Is ZoneAlarm 7 worth upgrading???

Hi guys!

I am using the free version of ZA 6 firewall. Now as Ver.7 has been released, is it worth upgrading and how about the resource usage.

Moreover, I read somewhere in this forum that ZA Internet Security has started using Kaspersky Antivirus Database. Is it true and if yes, how effecient is it???

new zass7 is good; a worthy upgrade !

I did install ZASS7. 1st of all, it seems to be very resource hungry. 2nd, I feel the AntiVirus is not doing anything although it is active. What do you guys recommend. Should I go for simply ZASS 7 or a combination of ZA Firewall 7, KAV 6 and Spy Sweeper...

well, i also tried the 15-day trial version of ZA7 internet security suite...here are my observations:

1---> The interface has been slightly altered. I liked the interface of the ZA6 better though. Now there's less colour and more whitishness. It has got a more professional look.

2---> There's not much change in the Anti-Spyware.
3-->It's still as resource hungry as ever.
4--> It still doesn't detect my Avast Antivirus and doesn't work hand-in-hand with its Web Scanner.


So, there's not much of a difference between ZA6 and ZA7...i don't know about it's Anti-Spyware as i don't use it
