Default Windows XP not installin!!

Tryin to install Windows Xp on my HP Pavillion DV6226, which came with Windows vista preinstalled... but on bootin frm cd following message comes-
"Setup did'nt find any harddisk on uour computer, setup cannot continue"
Plz help.. i need to install XP urgently....

disable native SATA support from BIOS, XP will install after that

thanks... the setup is runnin now,, but i wanna create a partition, plz suggest a freeware for vista....

Go To Administrative Tools In Control Panel And Then Goto Disk Manager

In Windows Vista

it has Intel T5200 proci with 1GB ram and Geforce 7400 gfx card...
one more problem, the video driver is not installin, i tried the geforce 7 series driver but the setup says that the hardware is not supported...

What is the memory of the Nvidia 7400 graphics card in HP dv6226(dedicated)? Do let us know if you were able to install WinXP with all drivers successfully and how.
