Default Registry Editor


I am facing a peculiar problem
My Laptop has started showing a message : Registry Editor has been Disabled by d administrator whenever I double click regedit

It shows d same message even in the administrator account....
What is d problem and how can I enable d regedit

Plz help

start>run>gpedit.msc
User Configuration>Administrative template>system
find the entry "Prevent access to registry editing tools"
double click it
And "enable it"

If above solution doesn't workout, then your PC is infected with Virus.

1. Download UnHookExec.inf right-click and 'Install'. This is a registry entry. It does not display any notice when you run it.
2. Restart PC

Registry editing should be enabled.

Now to remove the Virus, download and run Brontok cleaner in "safe mode".
