Default a help on video capture


Hi
I need to capture some videos may be in lower bit rate for reduced file size and want to play it back..( in out thru a breakout box like pinnacle ) as video out to record in VTR or so..

which capture card is better..input may be Analog/SDI..output too...

i need to edit captured clips..

is it possible to make a playlist of all clips and play continuously for 6 hours..

P IV processor..SATA HDD..available..Motherboard 915..

RAM now 512 but can enhance it..

Any other requirements...pl help me in building a system..
Capture card + software budget 30 to 40K..

Your budget is high enough for getting a good capture card. Choose from a wide range of Pinnacle Capture cards. Most of them also provide T.V. Tuner too. They are available from Rs.3000/- to Rs. 10000/-. RAM of 512 MB is good enough for Video capture.

There are many Video editors available. Simplest would be Windows Movie Maker. Amoung the paid versions, Ulead Video Studio adds a professional touch to the movie.

I will suggest Look Good CARDs FROM COMPRO
THEY ARE BEST IN THE BUSINESS.
