Default Itunes and Formatting HD

I'm about to format my Hard disk... and install OS (as mine is starting to slow down a lil)

Anyways... is there anything "I need to do" regarding my Itunes Library befoe formatting my HD?

Please Help... a lil lost here

i think if u r using xp then in ur profile's my music folder in my documents there will be an itunes folder ... prevent it from getting erased ... and once OS is re-installed put it back where it belongs

go to file-> export library and choose the location where u want to backup the library.

on reinstalling itunes after format, simply import the file following the same route i.e file->import library
dtox is offline
