Question XP - How to know numbers of file in Folder

Hello Friends,

If I Put MP3 CD in to CD Drive and with Win98 I get info about how many songs/files (number of songs/file) are there on CD at Footer Status Bar of Window, but with XP I can't get such info (Numbers of files on Footer Status Bar)?

Hope I make you understand what I mean

Thanks

Do you have the status bar on in your XP explorer? For me, I get the info on number of objects on the left edge of the status bar... Also, no file must be selected...
