Question Remote Desktop Connection

Hi Everbody,

I wanted to know how does this remote desktop connection work???
well supposing i have my brother working at his office and me at mine...
are there chances that i can connect to his PC with remote desktop connection??? and if i do so.. will this connection be monitored by the system administrators of my company.. and can they control this connection..i.e. can they disconnect my PC from my brothers whenever they want to???

Please help me and do enlighten me with this theory of Remote Desktop connection.. Can it be used to connect to 2 different PC's in different Countries... please help...

Thanks
Caje

Just go through the following link, u get all the details about remote desktop connection.

http://labmice.techtarget.com/window...te_desktop.htm

If you are working in a company and trying to connect another remote desktop of another company, firewalls will prevent them doing so due to security reasons.

If you people are in a same company and working in different places then you can easly connect to that system using remote desktop sharing feature.

^^^^^
Yes in that case other person who want to connect your PC need to know your Comp's IP address.
Say If any one want to connect via Internet then he must know your Internet session IP address(if your ISP provide you a dynamic IP).
