Default Does Windows Defender detect


Hello friends I am using Windows Defender for more than one month and I hope many of you will be using it. I have a question that windows defender detect any spyware or not. Whenever after visiting some sites whenever I scan my computer through Ad-Aware SE then it detect some cookies as spyware but Windows Defender doesnot even with updated definition anyone of you can tell me the name of a site having spyware so that I could know if windows defender detect any spware or not.

Defender is working nicely for me... and there is nothing that it cant detect.. some cookies,, are detected by third party programs , just to prove they are good..

Yes windows Windows defender is Excellent.it detected spyware on my computer

heard that any porno site will have lots of them!

I want to test it. In 2 days my new 512 Mb DDR2 RAM is coming and I have decided to reinstall windows so please tell me. Don't think about data I have copied it to second hdd. One more thing "to get something we have to loose something."

windows defender doz NOT detect cookies (as spyware). it choses to ignore them; but its good enuf - though it was rankd rather low in one of the recent comparatives...

downloading free screensavers and installing them is the best way to get FREE spyware . i m sugsting this to u since u have mentioned that u ARE going to reinstal in 2 days. so no harm learning first hand. porn/xxx/crack sites too will oblige u with free malware, btw !

I feel windows defender is the most useless antispyware. It never detects anything and takes a good amount of memory. With windows defender, we cannot scan a particular folder which is possible in AVG antispyware and spyware doctor ---which detect spywares very well.
And I have uninstalled defender. No probs.
