guys im trying install either suse 10 or vista beta 2....but its taking real long time for installation for more than hrs and still not completing...can anyone tell me is this is the speed at which it takes for installation or does it take normal....

I had installed both suse 10 and vista beta 2 and it took hardly half an hour for them to install........

My PC config is at my signature....

Looking at your config it is not normal that it takes so much time to install on your system. There must be some issue. Why don't you try installing Ubuntu Edgy edition on your system instead of SUSE. It will take hardly 15-20 mins. That will clear what exactly the problem is.

when i do normal installation
well it takes 15-20 mins to install suse and vista beta 2...
but its only taking hell lot time on virtual PC ..........
