Computer hangs immediately after start up..

I am facing a problem after the start up or after the desktop arrives..The computer hangs..immediately after the start up..I don't know what is happening..I m facing this problem from many days..but randomly..

Earlier When I restart my computer the disk check error showed some problem with some antivirus files..tmpfw.exe...etc..files associated with PC-Cillin..

But now

I have changed my AV and there is no such error..but today I got a error " ....................../TASKMGR.EXE is not valid "..

What can I do ???

Maybe ur PC is infected with a virus. Boot in safe mode & scan with a good antivirus. Also checkout the startup entries.

Yeah I have scanned with AVS powered my Kaspersky..but no such detected threats..

And the second method..checking the startup..entries..I am posting the HijackThis log..Have a look and say ..what's wrong..

Try scanning wth Avast. Good results. Removed 20 viruses, 40 trojans & 2 adwares from my comp.

First thing to do is remove unnecessary applications from startup using msconfig command in Run. Then, reboot the system and observe the time span for startup. Then scan the system by anti-virus in safe mode and heal all the threats found on system. If this is your virus problem then scanning will not help you anymore but you will see the immediate effect by removing unwanted applications from startup.
