Default My problem


My dear friends i am geting disk checking every time i start the system what would be the problem and any rectifications please?

Wrong section

It should be in Software Troubleshooting section

Regarding your problem

If u dont shut down your PC properly windows will ask for Disk Checking
If u cancel it
windows will again ask

Solution:
1. Do disk checking once
2. Always Shut Down your system properly

if u r not using linux.......and ur partions r in FAT32 format then convert them to NTFS and also do as piyush gupta has said..

Friend piyush is right. Do checking once only then it will not ask you again. You should also shut down your pc properly.

if still it doesn't work try this on dos:

fsutil dirty query drive letter

If it shows dirty type:

chkdsk drive letter: /f/r
