Question Writing image file generated by Image Mixer VCD2 software

How to write a image file as a VCD. This image file was generated by Image Mixer VCD2 supplied with Sony Digicam. This software creates a movie from the digital photos with selected background music.I'm able to play the image with VLC media player only. Is there any software available in the market to convert this image as a VCD, which I wanna play the movie in a DVD player. Please let me know anyone have solution for this...

^^
No gurantee that whether the following trick will work.
Try to convert all your movies to *.dat format or *.avi format if a DVD player supports it. Observe the folder structure of a standard VCD available in the market and create all the folders without any mistake for example: MPEGAV, CDI, EXT, SEGMENT, VCD. Now in the MPEGAV folder place your movies with names as
  1. AVSEQ01.DAT
  2. AVSEQ02.DAT
  3. AVSEQ03.DAT
  4. AVSEQ04.DAT
AND SO ON.

EACH FILENAME MUST START WITH "AVSE" FOLLOWED BY THE MOVIE NO. WITH AN EXTENSION OF *.DAT

This should work. You could use *.avi format if it is supported with the specific encoding like MPEG-4.

I dont think that whether DVD players support *.avi format.

if by image file, u meant an *.iso, then just burn it into a cd/dvd using nero. If u wanna xtract the files, use MagicISO or UltraISO. These utilities burn to discs too. U can also extract/recover the movie part using the free VCDGear.

If otherwise, please specify the file extension & detail ur problem.
