Default Deleting background

Hi Guys,

*I have Windows XP Home(SP2). I would like to delete Desktop backgrounds that I feel not necessay.
How to do it?
*I am using Internet Explorer 7. When I place my mouse on files in the History, it comes automatically a dialog box showing some details of the file. How to avoid showing such details?

1) I think that you want to delete useless Desktop wallpaper backgrounds. Go to X:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper and delete the unwanted images.

2) Regarding second question, here I think you want to websites history not to be shown in IE. To do that:
> Open IE
> Tools
> Internet Options
> General tab
> In the browsing history section, click "Delete" button.
> In the pop-up menu, click "Delete History" button and close
> Now to disable it permanently, go to "Content" tab
> In the Autocomplete section, click "Settings" button
> In the pop-up menu, uncheck "web addresses"
> Click "Apply" and "OK"

Restart IE. Now you will not see the browsing history.

right click anywhere on desktop-properties-desktop-select none from the list wallpaper-and select the colour of the desktop.

I am also using "No wallpaper"..and black colour as background. This help to decrease the startup time by 1-2 seconds

They use memory
800*600 = 1.83MB memory
1024*768 = 3MB memory
1900*1200 = 8.79MB memory
