I am facing a problem with the Windows Movie Maker when i try to import anything in the collection it gives and unspecified error message and the importing fails earlier it was working fine for me i will be very thankful if someone helps me solve this problem. |

Please explain in detail what you were doing and exactly what error it gives, if possible the error number too.

Did you install any Codec pack recently. It happened to me, when I installed a Codec pack, Windows Movie Maker perennially started crashing. But later when I removed it worked. Try it.
