Default How to Know wich ram SD / DDR ?


Well .. ,

guys i had a appz where it use to show all the info frm HDD to Ram wich Ram is used (SD /DDR etc etc )

but i fogot the name can u guys give me a appz etc etc to see wat r there in my PC CPU ?

sd ram has 2 cuts while ddr has single cut. this is the best method to identify....

Right! SD RAM has 2 Notches. See the following image. I have scanned it from my spare RAM.

also hey guys i have SD but my friend have DDR PC 333 wat does it means ? DDR is fine but its mhz is 333 rite ?

wat will it cost if its bout 512 Mb

You cannot fit a ddr ram onto an sd only suporting motherboard a ddr ram has actually th same clock speed as sd ram ,ie,ddr 333 has clock speed but it has two data cycles within each clock cycle and hence your ddr frequency comes out to be 166*2=333mhz.However what you have specified is PC 333
and ddr ram have their naming like this pc 2700 where 2700 is the data tranferred in bytes in one clock cycle.Only sd used a convention like pc 133 or pc 166 where 133 and 166 refers to the frequency.moe info about all this
