Exclamation Takes time to save a Word Document..

I am using both Windows Office 2000(Win 98) and 2007(Win XP)...but in the both s/w I am facing a strange problem while saving any word documents..It takes a considerable amount of time in saving..and in between that if I minimize or open another application the system gets hanged..

I have tried Uninstalling and reinstalling the application but the problem exists..

In windows Xp on desktop , right click on MY computer ICON, then go to properties, then click on advanced, the under Virtual memory & performance tab, click advanced, then at the bottom you will see a change button.. click it and then for the drive on which XP is installed set the custom sizes to 512 512(min) (max)

then click set and restart your system...

also : open your cab and take your RAM out, then insert it again....

your HDD also might be wanting a refresh...
