Will receiving Emails from Gmail in outlook express affect my bandwidth?

I plan to use the new feature of Gmail and receive the messages of Gmail directly in the inbox of Outlook Express. Since I receive many spams also, will the above affect my bandwidth which is very limited( 150 mb per day ). Will anybody explain to me?

Yes, your bandwidth WILL be consumed. 150MB during day is too much to spare IF you are a casual surfer.
Most mails are text files so not much of BW will be consumed by them though.

Outlook will not download the messages in your spam folder and besides this gmails spam guard is also pretty good. and yes it will use bandwidth

Thank you gentlemen for your prompt reply. I also suspected that it will consume bandwidth. I will, therefore, open the emails directly in Gmail.
