Windows 2000 not detecting 6070 as a modem

frnds i m unable connect my 6070 to my comp to acess airtel gprs
my processor has some internal problem so xp sp2 does not loads in it,so i have connected d phon in WIN 2000 with sp4 but the problem is when i try to acess internet it says no moedm connected .plz help frnds

Have you installed Nokia PC Suite?

First of all, unplug the phone data cable.
Install Nokia PC Suite.
Connect the phone.
Let the system install the drivers.
Select one touch access from PC Suite main windows.
Click on settings.
It will display the modem name.
Click next.
Select the Wireless Carrier, in your case Airtel India.
Click next.
Click Connect.

But make sure that you will first need Mobile Office active on your Airtel.

Install the driver of cable DKU-5 ....

Also ask for modem settins from AIRTEL without that ur modem will not work

You dont need to do those separately, they are included in the above steps. Drivers for DKU 5 are included in Nokia PC suite.
And selected the carrier in the One Touch Access automatically configures the modem.
