Unhappy Office 07 installation problem

I recently tried to install Office 07 but the installation failed and now almost every other minute the Windows insatller window pops up and asks me for the path to ProWW.msi .
Right now I dont want to install Office & am thinking of doing it after restoring my system.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the frequently popping installer?

Try cleaning the registry using CCleaner, etc...

just try a full uninstaller and clean your system with a registry cleaner as said above... uninstall your Temp. office installation...

also clear your TEMP. and Preftech folders.

CCleaner will check the registry for invalid entries... Sometimes, failed installations will leave useless keys that can cause windows to behave strangely... Registry cleaners will help remove these entries... But they are not perfect...
