Exclamation Many Problems

hello every1,
these r the prob i am facing

1. winem32.dll infected with backdoor-cvt trojan (McAfee ToTal Protection 2007)
2. by mistake i left my pen drive in while restarting n now during every boot it scans for that n those silly 5 sec r wasted due to this
pls tell me how to go back to normal mode when after the motherboard company screen, the bootscreen comes instead of that 5 sec gap of scaning
( i tried using bios n stopping other boot devices but to no avail)
3. mcafee total protection 2007-->Maintain comp section givin script error

also suggest some good antivrus for the foll config pc (some av do slow down pc's)
P4
2.66 Ghz
512 Mb RAM
80 Gb HDD
need av with auto protect for my pen-drive (means it should be portable)

pls help
thank u

Suggest you to remove mcafee.

Get KasperSky OR Nod32. This two anti-virus are very very powerful. Also keep up the Anti-Virus uptodate everyday. Scan your computer every 1 week.

lets go one step at a time.
first boot into safe mode and run a full system scan of ur mcafee av/as.
then clean up ur pc temp/junk. use 'ccleaner' if u dont have any.
then reboot. and post ur hjt logfile here for analysis also with the problems u may still be facing.

Yea i had too. I saw some people using two or three av and more than two firewalls on their computers.

So to caution i had to put OR.
