Default LogIn Password Prompts

I have window XP pro Installed. Every time I log into windows I get a Username and Password. As a result, I need to press [ENTER] everytime I boot into Windows. Is there a way to eliminate the username and password Prompt ?

I have read Digit2005 edition inthat there was a solution :
Edit the Windows registery, navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowNT\Cu rrentVersion\WinLogon" In the right pane, double click on the string"DefaultUserName" and change the Value data to your username. Similarly change the strings "Defaultpassword" and "DefaultDomainName" to your password and DomainName respectively. Finally delete the string "AutoLogonCount". The next time you start windows, you will not not be asked to enter a username and password.

When I tried this I found that I dont have any "AutoLogonCount" neither "DefaultPassword" string So I have created "DefaultPassword" string and leave it blank as I dont have any password then I exit and restart . But it doesn't work. Plz help me to get out of this PasswordPrompts Problem ?

I have one more Problem My "TaskManager" get Disabled. how can I enabled it.

Hey my friend, see if u have install .NET Framework 1.1 on ur computer. It forms a account called ASP.NET..... If there is delete. I to have done that and the problem was solved. For task manager create a new computer administrator and delete this account. Then see if tak manager is disabled.

Use TweakUI for Windows XP - it has option to automate login... Regarding Task Manager being disabled... There are many possible reasons which include virus/malware infection... Do you use a good Antivirus with up-to-date definitions? And also, how about Anti-spyware and Firewall? Run AV scan and Anti-spyware scan in safe mode to check for viruses... If problem persists, post back and we shall look at other alternatives...

@Kaushal Hiwarkar
U hv to also create another STRING value AutoAdminLogon and set its value to 1.
U can also enable auto-login by giving following command in RUN dialog box:

control userpasswords2

and now disable the option users must enter username & password to use this computer option.
