Win 2000 Blues

Hi frnds , I'm using win. 2000 right now because of some Hardware problem which is causing my Xp to crash frequently but is working with 2000.

But , it looks like 2000 Blues are all over me .....Because i'm not able to open even "msconfig" in it ...... Plz Help and if possible discuss EXCEPTIONS of 2000 over Xp .............
