how to get speeds in international torrents?

whenever i try to download english movies or dvd's from demonoid or even any other foreign tracker(given the health is good),i just dont get speeds.they range from 1-15 at most.and i am on a 512 kbps unlimited connection.on the other hand,if i try hindi movies frm bwt i get good speeds - 45-58 if the health is ok.

agreed the seed/peer ratio is better in bwt as compared to in demonoid,but there must surely be a way out.i have even increased the half open connection to 90 but not even a slight increase in speeds was noticable.

i use utorrent,and have tried azureus too,but sppeds just dont increase.and thats not only with me,all of my friends face the same problem.is there any way out?

...... kinda illegal here to talk about downloading hindi movies from torrents. But did you see that the torrent you are downloading is well seeded ? Put half open tcp/ip to 50 and increase the maximum number of peers per torrent to 250 to 300. Try limiting the download per torrent on selective basis. Use Azureus. That will help for sure.

Yep..Use Azureus for whatever YOU DOWNLOAD.. I mean whatever Torrents you download from..

512Kbps unlimited is not being provided by any company yet in India........................I want one.

@nfsfan: try the openoffice torrent to determine whether the problem exists with all torrents or not.

hmmmm....if u r finding it difficult to get a gud speed...thn all i can say is tweak some configurations or try using some another torrent....

thats the catch, it will wary from 240-300 in day time.
anyway its gud for those who don't use PC 24x7 & need fast speeds
