i want to save flash videos

hi i want a sftwr to save flash videos on my computer. it will be better if it cud convert it to avi.
is there a plugin for firefox that would save flash videos.also where the hell are temprory internet files of firefox stored.
bcoz then i can go to that folder and search for .swf files and have them.

use UNPLUG extension for firefox to save flash files.

You can try those plugins or better you use Opera for this. All the swf files will be stored in cache folder..so u can just copy it from their.

Theres no free SWF to AVI converter available but you can search for that in Google.

For opera, Copy and paste this in your my computer address bar...

%UserProfile%\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\cache4

For Internet Explorer

%userprofile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Now, sort the files by Filetype and Copy all swf files to a seperate directory.. and check out..!!

Cache for firefox is sorta encrypted. So forget about it.

For saving most flash videos, use... Ook? Video Ook! or VideoDownloader addon.

arey yaar so simple just open the source of the that page and find out flv extension and just copy that full adress and paste in download manager and download very simple

The fastest way and simplest way will be to use Firefox and get the extension Download Embedded. It will show you all embedded objects in a web page including flash videos which you can download in one click.

Its not only flv... u forgot swf...

Also can b done by checkin out in media tab of page info in Firefox and savin the flash file there.

Also a simple page save as whole page'll save even the flash content in Firefox. That's the most simple way to do it.

Lotsa methods, but the VideoDownloader/Ook methods help save some streamed media too, which can't b done normally.

For OPERA there is a userjs script that will show all embedded links in a page on a double-click
