Default Software for editing Quicktime movies

Can anyone recommend a good editor for QuickTime Movies (.MOV etc)? The QuickTime Player doesn't support it. I need to use it to edit videos from my digicam?

Thanks.

come on maan.. most video editors (incl. UleadVideoStudio) can do it.. provided u had already installed the QuickTime Codecs.

Also try
MPEG4 Direct Maker
Video Edit Magic

Google 4 more

But beware : the time it takes 2 convert an MOV is HUUGGGGEEEEEEEE

With Quicktime 6.52 Pro, first convert the video to avi format, with no compression, but this will erquire a lot of HD space or with a good quality codec for Quictime, after that for minor edition use Virtualdub or TMPGEnc or for heave editing use softwares like Premiere Pro

use Adobe Premiere Pro .if the footage time is more than one hour ..try to use any 3rd party MPEG for exproting .otherwise that take too much time
