Default chkdsk and file restore


i had an windows crash where i had to run "restore last config" options to get it back online.

since then windows always checks a particular partition (E and when i logg into the system, i always get a "a system file was restored successfully" mesage.
this happens every time i boot my system

please help

Scan your harddisks one using the
Chkdsk /f E:
command in the Command Prompt.
If the Computer asks your permission to check on the next restart, say yes and let it scan and fix the hard disk.

Also, scan your computer once for Viruses and also run a Registry Error Check using Crap Cleaner available on www.Ccleaner.com
