problems with booting xp!!

hi....
i recently formatted my hdd and loaded wi xp pro....
but aft this 7 out of 10 times ven i try to boot it shows the screen for going into safe mode!!
i jus cant figure out the prob..
plz help......

Explain your problem in detail. When does it happen exactly??

Please ensure that you do not have frequent power failures and such...

And last but not the least ensure that you have not been infected by a virus.

i ran a virus check...nothing is showing......

i think the safemode entry of xp may created in boot.ini,so go to mycomputer->properties->advanced->then go to the bottom SETTINGS tab->edit then a notepad file is open, so verify the line

if this is not there make correction i think your line may consists of SAFEMODE
