how can i come to know the cd key of the xp installed on my comp???

If its pirated i cant help.. If its genuine u can try the xp key finder.. Google it.. I think one is available @ magicaljellybeans.com

Click Start then Run: Type "regedit" into the dialog box. Expand the menu trees for HKey Local Machine, Software, Microsoft, Windows then click the "Current Version" folder itself, not the plus sign and your product key is right there.(see the product id string)

u ll get product id + more details in this one .. Hkey local machine>software>microsoft>windows NT> current version..
