i want to change my start menu name, what should i do?

This is not recommended if you are not sure what you are doing. This needs resource hacking of explorer.

i presume u r talking not about username (which occurs on the startmenu); but start button text...
click Utility to Rename Start Button

^^ thts right but u see.. tht utility is not pefectly doing it as it is meant to.... after sometime..(say 5 minutes or so) the original text (START) replaces the modified text...

^ I think the explorer.exe itself restores automatically. Its a feature of Windows file protection.
You better read this article for disabling it.
But I am not sure whether it will work.

Just edit %windir%\Explorer.exe file in Resource Hacker
