Default how to use .png files as icons??

i have a lot of good looking icons but they are in png format.i want to set them as icons for folders in my harddisk.but xp only allows .ico files to be set as icons.
how do i convert .png to .ico.
also i do not want to object dock/style xp/.........etc coz i am low on ram.
i simply want to convert the .png files to .ico

PNG 2 ICO File Converter is a simple program to convert 32 bit (i.e. 24 bit colour, 8 bit alpha) png images into a Windows .ico file.

If you want more options or a better job done, you can try IconDeveloper, from stardock. It's not freeware, but you can try the trial version. It's very good, but may be overkill for your needs.
