virus effected,wana gt retriev.pls help me

dear experts,
i m using AMD Semptron 2800+.

well,unfortunately my pendrive got virus frm a computer (automaticaly duplicating folders).and whn i used n my above said pc,it too got effected.

nw, i triedvto install AVGBAnti Virus.whn i m opening avg's folder,to install,it automatically gets closed,and refreshing. whn i tried to view all files in tools-folder options, the same thing happns.

hw can install anti virus?

pls help me
it is my official pc too.

Try to install the anti-virus in Safe mode!
Also download "HijackThis" from www.hijackthis.de and then run it and post the Logfile contents here.

Most of the virus don't allow antivirus softwares to get installed on your system once they invade the system.

Download: avast! Virus Cleaner

>Log on to Windows in safe mode
>Run the cleaner
The cleaner will disable the Virus and then remove it.
