firwall at our office doesnot allow yahoo messenger and other websites.
what to do.............
is ther any alternative.

it has been blocked by system admins so that u do ur work and not access these sites for personal use....so let it be that way...if u break rules...u might land in soup...another option is ...make friendship with ADMIN

there may be two types of blocking site...
1..... blocking ip address
2......site url
u can access sites by using proxy surfing

Use proxy web sites to access these like wpc3015.amenworld.com

You can try various online messengers.

www.meebo.com
www.e-messenger.net
http://messenger.yahoo.com/webmsgr/fmsgr.php

Any of these should work.

PS. Try meebo, it is awsome!! If your network has it blocked, insert any number after www. It will look like www33.meebo.com
