I use Win XP with SP2, Windows 98 and Linux.
I think vysakh is on a "old thread recovering spree", particularly that of Wizard's.
And mostly everyone mispells his name as vyasak.

Win - ntldr boot menu

98se - legacy s/w , net koz most new viruses attack only w2k and above
xpsp2 - edu\testing
w2kprof - main
w2kser - edu\testing

Lin - without grub/lilo, using loadlin from 98

pcqlin 03 - rh8 - edu\testing
pcqlin 04 - fedora - alternative to ms , when ms screws up lin saves the day
suse 9.1 - good gui. detected sound with no probs or additional installation . has memtest in boot cd itself .
xandros - detected winmodem without any probs

yet to try
elx , freebsd , gentoo , debian

tried , tested and no more
qnx ,beos , dragon linux , rh 6.1 , rh 7, win3.1 , win95

No freeBSD option????????????????
By the way I am using Win XP SP2 original OEM on my 2x120GB sata raid.

RH 64 bit beta on 8.4GB IDE HDD, this is highly unstable beta. I know there is now final RH 64bit but I cant find it anywhere.

FreeBSD on my old P3 machine.
When people see how beautifully FreeBSD i running on my old P3 they are amased and call me geek
