I am having windows xp in my system.I recently installed windows xp service pack2. After installing this recovery console is not working at all.When i try to reinstall recovery console with my xp cd,it display the message ,"the os that is on the system is newer than the current one which you try to install"and get aborted.So how i can install recovery console in my pc.

try streaming your xp cd with sp2 from some friends comp. the command line parameter can be searched at google. i know it but i surf from the net so sorry. after streaming your xp cd with sp2 files you should be able to recover your installation. My recommendation its better to start a new than recovering. you can take backup of your important data before doing that.
