Exclamation USB not working?


my system was recently infected with yahoo messsenger virus.. which disabled my run , task manager , and registery editting as well.


i fixed all of that.
but now a new problem came out..
when ever i plug in a usb drive in my usb it identifies the usb however
i can not see the usb icon in "MY COMPUTER"


is there a solution to this?

Go to system properties>> hardware

Is it shown there....
if yes then uninstall it...retstart u comp and it will get detected...then install drivers ...if needed..
if no then u do sam ething given above ..except uninstallation...

go to comp management in admin tools in control panels...

Choose disk management. u'll find the usb drive listed there... Jus assign the drive letter to it.. and can right click on it to explore or open uer usb...

jus a temp solution..(eveything based on if u using WIn XP)
and u shud have uer logical disk manager services enbled for this(hich can be done from the same comp management console..
