Default Cannot open any folder or drive


I followed the tutorial to change the icons of the file types given here:

I changeed the icon for the Drive And Filefolder file types from the folder options as given.But after that ,whenever i clicked on the drive or any folder a search window opened and also the icon didnt change to what i specified .please help

look bro if you have system restore on then restore your system to an earlier point..

Open regedit and goto following keys one by one:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell


Under these keys, u'll find a key with name find, just delete it

LOL, I'm pretty sure VG doesn't know 'entire' windows registry. but hey he knows enough to write a book

PS: no harm meant.
