Question Remote desktop


Hi friends,
can any one have idea about Remote desktop in Win XP?
I have two systems at home and office. Both have modems and telephone connection. How can I connect each PC from either side? Plz tell in detail I am a beginner.

well .. theres a program called remote admin aka Radmin
its pretty easy to use.. need any help with it lemme know

1.Run the command mstsc

2.Just type the IP you want to connect (Ports in the Windows Firewall should be Opened)

3.Please enable the RDP feature under
My Computer - Properties - Remote - Remote Desktop on both the computers

4.Remember to create an account under both systems that has a privilege of connecting through Remote Desktop

well u can look here too..

create an account... AD the PC as connected pc by installing there software... now u can control that PC from any where in the world with any browser

u need ur frnds IP address not the phone number... use this service to find ur IP address www.whatsmyip.org

I tried with my friends IP address... Nothing happens...

what would be the mistkae...?
He is using dataone...
