Unhappy cd not reading


i have a problem here.
i have a cd which has some important data. but the cd rom drive is not able to read it. i have also tried it on other comps. but i somehow want the data. so how do i retrieve the data from the cd. is it possible to retrieve the data if the cd is corrupted? any soln

If nothing works just wash ur CD with toothpaste in inside out manner. But do not keep ur CD to dry in sunlight
