Default Help ...!

Hi all,

My dad's pc was infected with Win32FunLove virus since quite a time... now as my exams were over he told me to get rid of it as even formatting didnt help. I ran many anti fun love utilities given in various sites , and in the end found one useful which did it in dos mode. "http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/Fixfun.exe"

I downloaded this on the other comuter which isnt infected.

i booted and ran the portable 98 floppy and ran the utility. Then i reinstalled windows 98. Now the computer doesnt start and shows errors of Unregmp2.exe and hpboid.exe.

Can anyone tell me what should i do next.
Er... urgent

i take it u have run all the anti-funlove utilities. now try the antibride.exe tool by running it in safe mode. HOPE it starts in safe mode atleast.

The BullGuard antibride.exe tool does the following:
it detects all the known Win32.Bride versions;
it deletes the files infected with Win32.Bride;
it disinfects the files detected as Win32.Funlove;
it kills the process from memory;
it repairs the Windows registry.

reg the unregmd2.exe error try this :
press Shift +F10 to bring up the
command prompt. Then type taskmgr.exe in the DOS window
and press Enter. The Task Manager should be started. If
not, try to press C+Shift+ESC. In the Task Manager
program, select the error messsage window in the
application list and click "End Task". In the process
list, terminate the unregmp2.exe program. Exit the DOS
prompt window and resume the installation process

if u can, delete this entry if it exists it :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\curr entversion\runonce\kb837272
