Generic host sys 32 error PLEASE! help

Please help me,
A day before yesterday,while i was playing Need For Speed :Most Wanted,suddenly the game minimized and an error message with something like this popped up:-
"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

After that ,everything seemed to have gone mad in my PC,the internet connection icon (BSNL Broadband dialup) didn't respond at all,on double clicking it the window just flashed for microseconds.The internet connection was totally blocked as I was able to open no website with an browser (IE and Fire fox).Sometimes the taskbar and start icon automatically switched to Windows 98 skin.Then if i restart,the NTFS file checkup process gets initiated no matter whatever buttons i press to bypass it .(one of your drive needs to be checked.......)

PS:This all seems to have started when i disabled my windows firewall and not WHEN after the error message shows up,i cant even turn on the firewall,it shows some message something like startup failure.

Just now when i am writing the error showed up again +
Mcaffee just right now found two viruses, W32.Sality.x and Backdoor-CVT

But still the Scan is going on and the all that mess above i mentioned (the hang thing) is taking place..(i am witing this on notepad)
Please help me ,i can post memory Processes data if u like..

Also ,sometimes when i send a mail via my yahoo (and now gmail account too!) ,in some cases (2/5) i get a mail from something like MAILER-DAEMON@YAHOO.COM telling that there was error in sending the mail..

Please please help.

I am autopatchin my windows,do i have to download all the autopatchers or only october version is fine ....?

Hope 'sysfle' given link solved your problem...
Install 'Full' version which usually will be around 150 to200MB in size.
Critical updates like this one will be carried in all editions. So no need to install all versions of Autpatcher.

One more thing..Always turn 'ON' the Automatic Updates feature in your Windows. Windows will take whatever it needs!

fist go into safe mode and scan ur pc with ur mcafee. also use ccleaner.
then see if something in the link mentioned by sysfilez above, helps u.
else then post ur hijackthis logfile here or at www.hijackthis.de for analysis.
