Default Win XP start menu style in Win 98

Is it possible to have the cool start menu style of Win XP in win 98?

I heard there is a software which helps us to that.

Is this true?

there's also a program called stylexp, i think. or something like that. but my experience with these programs are that they end up messing up my start menu and i usually have to do a reformat.

either way you can go to download.com and search for window blinds and then look up other progs in the similar category. haha.

StyleXP requires memory.
it runs in background.
if u have a lot of memory like 256 or more, then its good.
but in case of 128 its wise idea to not use it.

style xp 2.11 uses very less resources. yes, during start-up a lil more but later StyleXPService.exe uses only about 500 kb only. and u can disable stylexp.exe from running in the taskbar.

its very smooth...nothin to worry about.

There are some Visual Styles that require it to run ..It doesnt eats any resources by the way ..
And John .. Try XPSuite from WindowsX ..It is a nice program for Windows 98 ..

i don't recall my problems with style xp but i remember that desktopx messed up my taskbar. i had it on auto-hide (was kind of a cool fad then) and after a few days of desktop-x the menu didn't show itself anymore. it stayed hid. oh well....
