Reg : changing the windows looking style

hi ....
i want to change the look of windows explorer....
i.e. the window which will open when i open desktop or my computer or any folder or anything ......
i hope u understand what i want to do ....
i hope i can do it by using resource hacker ...

but plzz tell me how can i do it....

Yeah! U can do this using Resource Hacker

Just open the current msstyles file in resource hacker and then change the BITMAPs, u want

Remember! u'll hv to give more time on this work! Just look around all the bitmaps and u'll get all kind of bitmaps, like for titlebar, for taskbar, etc.

..... but i cant catch what files u r talking abt and what files i hav to edit .....
so can u plz post the filenames which i have to edit using resource hacker .....

if u r using windows xp's default theme that is Windows XP then go to
"C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna" and the file is luna.msstyles.

If u r using any other theme and just search for file with extension .msstyles

N.B:-I just knew where is the file, butI don't know which file to edit and said by VISHAL that it is a msstyles so gave this.

i think u r rite.... but how can i edit .msstyles files ..... i was unable to open them by using resource hacker ..
i had tried this already... but as i was unable to edit by resource hacker ... i had posted here....
is there any other way to edit these files ????
are there any other files which i have to edit ......
as vishal said we can edit by using resource hacker ... i hope there are some other files than .msstyles.....

I never faced any problem in editing .msstyles file in Resource Hacker!
Just open Resource Hacker and then open the .msstyles file from the File menu!

Can u pls tell me what exact error r u getting in RH?

And thats the only file, which u hv to edit to change the visual style!
