Reg: My Recent Documents Folder Missing

here is my problem.....
i cant see " my recent documents " folder in the system....
can any one help me to restore that folder ....

If u want the folder name, then its:

C:\Documents and Settings\User_Name\Recent

Where C: is the system drive!

And if u r talking about the recent documents menu in Start Menu, then u can restore it from Taskbar Properties!

hi vishal .. nice to hav a reply 4m u....
i too know that the folder will b in C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\

but the problem is that i was unable to see the " recent documents "folder ... what i mean is that there is no such folder in the above path ... i dont what happened .....

even in the task manager properties also ... there is no option of recent documents ...

i hope now u understood the problem clearly .... and i also hope u can fix it

Actually The folder name is not "Recent Documents" but its "Recent"

And in Taskbar Properties, there should be an option like "Show recent documents" or "no. of documents" , etc. I can't tell exact option name coz now I'm on Vista RC1

i know all these .... but the problem is as i already mentioned there is no such folder as recent or documents or anthing like that
and also there is no option in taskbar properties.....
i know these ... as i had already seen ... but now they r not ..... this is surprising 4 me..... i dont no what happened....
i guess in some registry something has edited ... like no recent documents folder or something like that....
as i dont no much abt registries ... iam asking ur help.....
