Default ExpressCard - Data Card and TV Tuner Card

Hi!
I have bought a new Dell Inspiron 6400. It has a ExpressCard Slot and the manual says that PCMCIA cards will not work. I was thinking of taking a Data Card from any of the telecom oparators. (like Reliance-CDMA, Airtel-EDGE, etal)

My Question is will these cards work on the ExpressCard slot, (I guess not), what is the work-around for that?

Like can I buy any ExpressCard from the open market and then get that configured to the telecom oparator? what will be the cost?

2nd I am also considering to take a TV Tuner card. Are there any express card based tv tuner cards availabe?? what is the cost?

thanx a lot in advance.

Default Re: ExpressCard - Data Card and TV Tuner Card

1. No, they are not compatible. There is no work around. There are no ExpressCard peripheral available in the market as of now.

2. No, USB based tv tuners are the only option, would set you back by 4-5k
