Virtual Dub Not Opening Vcd File

I am encountering a pecuiler error while operating virtualdub . Though i have used it many times to cut video from my favouite vcd's but somtime it deoes'nt open the VCD File saying that the parameter is incorrect

This does'nt happen every time but only with some cd . I even tried to open the file by copying the file from the cd in my hard disk but still it is showing the error.

I checked it by opening other VCD's and they open just fine though some of them due to bad data are opened till a limited leng

but this one just does'nt open. The error dialouge is

"CANNOT READ FROME FILE "AVSEQ01.DAT" : The parameter is incorrect"

Would appriciate a higher resolution picture.
Virtual dub by does support dat files. i can confirm that.
only posibility is that contained data dosnt match file format or the settings are incorrect.
Try reinstaling virtual dub.
