Default winXP help - lost recent documents

i was experimenting with settings in gpedit.msc yesterday. today i noticed that my recent documents list is always empty, with only My Documents and My pictures folder.
how can i restore it?

Open "regedit" and goto:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

Now search & delete following values in right-side pane:

ClearRecentDocsOnExit
NoRecentDocsHistory

Thanx vishal, it is working now. after deleting those values it worked after restart.
