Arrow Browsing and downloading via IDM slows up my surfing.

Whenever i am downloading something via IDM i cant surf de net, it becomes very slow. can anyone tell me a way out by which i can surf and download simultaneously.

that's not new....use any download manager or even download manually,it effects the speed..even video streaming slows down speed coz it is using ur bandwidth...

if u want fast browsing while downloading too, set "no. of connections" in options to a lower value..
but this will degrade download speed

yup , Flashget is good for this you can set the upper limit for the bandwidth in it .

i dont think net surfing becoming slow is due to IDM
i am using IDM from last 1.5 years ... but it has never given ny problem
is the problem appearing 4m the time when u installed IDM ..?????
