This blanket statement is not always true. Relative speed results depend on many factors, including hardware-related. The Internet Explorer window typically comes up faster than Firefox the first time you double-click on the program icon. This is mainly because core Internet Explorer libraries are actually loaded into memory as your computer is starting up...

Opera myths

NO ! Despite common belief, Opera was not the first web browser to support tabbed pages. The first known web browser with tab support was InternetWorks, back in 1994.

Nice find...interesting trivia...never knew them except that FX is faster than IE...even I fully support that IE loads faster than FX...consumes less memory...and hangs more !
