Exclamation Microsoft Products worries.


Recently my friend opened his MS Office (Word) and begin to write but unfortunately a pop-up window showed that "You are not eligible to write on this software".

Even the microsoft Photo Editor is not opening.

What may have gone wrong?
please help us.

I need a little more information about it. like was it working before, which version of MS Office, did he install anything regarding MS Office.

It was working properly.He has MS OFFICE 2003 and not installed any thing relating to MS office updates or security patches.

I believe there is trouble with some files related to XP.
u should try reinstalling the whole of XP again.

May be uninstall OFFICE and do a reinstall

Try to reinstall office

after that windows

then format hdd

He had reinstalled office but nothing happened.
All microsoft products are not working except IE and WMP 9 which are inbuilt products.

You can try with System Restore (if its on) to revert back to a previous day when it was working properly.
Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

If that too doesn't work try doing a Xp Repair.Follow this :

It looks more like a case of infection. I dont remember Microsoft Word giving that message.BTW is it a pirated or genuine copy?

Run a Spyware Check
If he has Norton Anti-Virus installed, ask him to uncheck the office plug in from the options
