Google Desktop Problem

hi guys...

i'm having WIN 2000 and WINXP...
google desktop installed on both OS's...
and it is running smoothly...

recently i changed the Google Desktop Image Cache Direcotry by changing data_dir in the registry to
I:\Google Desktop\WIN2000\ea43afe58412 and
I:\Google Desktop\WINXP\2913cc377967

there is no problem for WIN2000 google desktop and it started indexing from that location..

but in windows Xp it stopped indexing....
i can access the existing cache using GD....
but new files are not indexing....
it shows Time of newest item as Sep 23....

pls help me guys....
